Habit Clustering, globose balls with fine, soft tufts of hair coming out of vertically aligned areoles.
Height Individually, each ball can grow up to 15cm in height. The clusters can reach up to 30cm high.
Colour Green in colour with silvery white hairs.
Flowers Stunning yellow flowers that have a satin-like appearance. Flowers in late spring/summer.
Aspect Happy in either a full sun or part shade position.
Ouch Factor Low - Spines are hair like and not sharp. Children friendly.
Uses Looks great on its own in a bowl when left to cluster. A collector’s delight.
