| Habit | Closely related to the Sempervivum, this Jovibarba forms rosettes with fleshy, pointed leaves. The leaves develop a silver fringing on the edges with age. Will pup to form a cluster. |
| Height | The rosettes will grow up to 15cm in diameter. |
| Colour | Foliage is a deep burgundy colour, with the centre of the rosette remaining green. Leaves are brilliantly glossy. The red colour will deepen if grown in a sunnier position. |
| Aspect | Happy in either a full sun or part shade position. |
| Uses | A beautiful potted plant on its own or in an arrangement. Looks great as an established cluster in a low bowl. Suitable for the garden and in rockeries. |
