||A pink flowering variety of the Parodia mammulosa, which is well known for having yellow flowers. Although a spherical/globose cactus, they can grow into a short columnar with age.
||Stems can grow up to 30cm in height, and about 20cm in width. It is slow growing, but will eventually branch from the base.
||The cactus itself is bright green, with spines that vary from yellow to brown, giving the plant a brown hue with age. White wool can be seen on the top.
||Light pink to salmon coloured flowers, with yellow centres. Petals are iridescent.
||Happy in either a full sun or part shade position.
||Medium - Spines are prickly but not overly sharp. Handle with care.
||Looks great on its own in a pot or with others in a mixed bowl. Wonderful for a rockery garden.
