| Habit | Leafless stems that are chunky in appearance and have soft teeth. Grows semi prostrate and easily spreads to form a mass clump or cluster. |

| Colour | Foliage ranges from green to light brown. Can develop a purple hue. |
| Flowers | A very unique, starfish shaped flower that is variegated. Patterned with colours of golden yellow, magenta, chocolate and purple. Infamous for producing an unpleasant smell. |
| Aspect | Happy in either a full sun or part shade position. Is very tolerant of the heat in the summer months. |
