| Habit | A carnivorous plant with an appetite for insects. 2 leaves are hinged together to form a trap, and when the trap senses something within it, it snaps shut. The teeth on the trap interlock so the prey cannot escape. |
| Height | The traps are quite small, and will only grow up to 5cm in height. |
| Colour | Lime green stems and leaves. The inside of the trap is maroon red in colour. |
| Flowers | White, star shaped flower appear on very tall stems above the plant. This is so that insects can pollinate the flowers without falling victim to the traps below. |
| Aspect | Happy in either a full sun or part shade position, but must be kept moist. |
| Uses | A great novelty plant as a gift or for the collector who loves unusual species. Avoid touching the traps with your hands as the oil in your skin can damage the foliage. Must be kept moist. |
