Peperomia nivalis
Features
| Habit | Fleshy, boat shaped leaves that are densely packed onto a short stem. The leaves have a matte, rough surface except on the top, where it changes to a smooth, glossy surface. |
| Height | Will grow upright to 15cm, before spreading outward. |
| Colour | Foliage is a bright, lime green, with a darker green strip across the top of each leaf. Can develop a white ‘dusting’ on the foliage, as well as a pink blush in the cooler months. Stems can develop an orange to pink hue. |
| Flowers | Marvellous yellow spikes sprout from the tip of each stem, each with a multitude of tiny, yellow flowers. |
| Aspect | Happy in either a full sun or part shade position. |
| Uses | A collector’s delight. Slow growing, so suits a small pot on its own or in an arrangement. Larger plants make a wonderful textural difference to a rockery garden. |
